Once upon a time in the not so distant past, there was a young couple that enjoyed going on walks. On one of their walks to get some dinner, they came across a small bundle of fur. The girl being the lover of animals she is, and the guy being the kind soul that he is, decided to take the kitten they had found home. When the put the food down in front of her, she gobbled it up, which is unusual for newly found animals to do. What the two realized is that someone had abandoned the poor fluffball at just 6 weeks old.
After a few days, the couple still hadn’t decided to keep her (but they didn’t have a name for her either). The boy was talking to his friend and he was blabbering on about some comic book character named Galactus: The Destroyer of Worlds. As the three looked over at the kitten, she was destroying a toilet paper roll and hence came her name – Kitten: Destroyer of Worlds.
After that, it was decided that Kitten would stay. The next year went by and Kitten got toys and more toys, food and more food and became like a child to the young couple. But then, the girl decided to leave. The guy made sure Kitten stayed with him. And for the next 6 months, Kitten was right by the guy’s side. She would wait up for him to come home from work. She would curl up next to him when she knew he was sad or crying. She would sleep with him and make sure she got her daily treat in the morning. She would lay on his keyboard to make sure he petted her. She made sure she was always there, with him, so he wouldn’t be alone.
A dog is man’s best friend? I think not.
