The Komets play three games this weekend, but I find it's hard not to look ahead to Sunday's game at Muskegon, Mich.
Of course, the question is: Will all hell break loose again when the Komets and Muskegon Lumberjacks meet? I am getting peppered with questions about that almost everywhere I go.
I have spoken to several Fort Wayne players this week about that very issue. The best I can determine is that something will happen, probably in the form of somebody trying to fight Jason Lawmaster for his Oct. 31 jumping of Konstantin Shafranov.
No, I don't think there will be mass chaos. But I think the Komets will want to get their point across -- and they'll do it early in the game and then move on.
There is a big asterisk on this though, since it will be the third game of the weekend. These teams could be very tired and may not even want to bother. Plus, Brad MacMillan and Robin Big Snake will still be serving their lengthy suspensions; it may not get out of hand until they come back.
Speaking of out of hand, check this AP video out -- click here -- it's hysterical.
The following are the forward lines I believe the Komets will use this weekend, unless Matt Syroczynski is returned by Norfolk of the American Hockey League: P.C. Drouin-Colin Chaulk-Konstantin Shafranov; Sean O'Connor-Leo Thomas-Tomas Klempa; Rick Varone-Travis Whitehead-Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock. Blair Stayzer would be the spare forward.
