More H1N1 clinics this week

The Fort Wayne-Allen County Health Department has scheduled two more H1N1 vaccine clinics this week for high-priority groups.

Three vaccines will be available from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the medical park, 1818 Carew St. The clinic will offer a separate line for firefighters and emergency medical workers on Friday.

The nasal mist H1N1 vaccine will be available for healthy children and adults ages 2 to 24 plus caregivers younger than 49 of infants younger than 6 months.

The H1N1 injectable vaccine will be available to pregnant women; people caring for infants younger than 6 months; adults 25 to 64 with chronic health conditions like asthma, diabetes or heart disease; and children 6 months to 18 years.
