Women sign three

Told you to stay tuned.

Now here's what you stayed tuned for: IPFW womens' basketball coach Chris Paul announced today that he's signed three players -- all guards -- for the 2010-11 season.

They are Amanda Hyde of Liberty-Benton High in Findlay, Ohio, who averaged 20.8 points last year as a junior; Erin Murphy of Seymour, an Indiana All-Star candidate who averaged 15.2 points; and Amanda Anderson of Bedford North Lawrence.

"We were looking for three people in this class that are able to do some different things," Paul said in a statement. "These three are all strong, able to shoot the ball, can post up, defend and most importantly are winners."
