Steven Tyler, 61, made a surprise appearance with guitarist Joe Perry and the rest of Aerosmith on Tuesday in New York, telling the crowd: “I am not leaving Aerosmith.” Rolling Stone and Billboard magazines report the two then launched into their hit “Walk This Way.”

The appearance ends speculation about the band’s future. Perry tweeted that Aerosmith was “looking for a new singer to work with.”

Quaids pay hotel bill

An arrest warrant has been dropped for actor Randy Quaid and wife Evi, accused of stiffing a Santa Barbara County (Calif.) hotel on a $10,000 bill.

The Quaids’ attorney, Robert Sanger, says the bill was paid and he hopes to talk with prosecutors about resolving the case.

Sci-fi drama canceled

The Joss Whedon fantasy drama “Dollhouse” will end after its 13-episode order, with the series finale airing Jan. 22, says a person familiar with the show. The show returns Dec. 4.

“Dollhouse” is about a high-tech prostitution service, with Eliza Dushku starring as an escort who can be implanted with different personalities to accommodate each client.

Singer not pregnant

Canadian singer Celine Dion isn’t pregnant after all. Dion’s publicist, Kim Jakwerth, said the couple’s doctor had confirmed a pregnancy in August through in vitro fertilization.

When that information went public, Dion, 41, confirmed it. But a day later, she found out the embryo had not been implanted successfully. Jakwerth said Dion didn’t announce it because she was hopeful another implantation would work.

She said Dion and husband Rene Angelil will keep trying.
