More H1N1 clinics in Noble, Steuben

Noble and Steuben counties have announced additional H1N1 vaccination clinics.

Steuben County has scheduled a clinic from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Monday in the multipurpose room of the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne St., Angola. The H1N1 injection vaccine will be available to children ages 6 to 35 months, and pregnant women 18 years and older.

Children between 6 and 35 months who received their first dose on or before Oct. 16 can return for their second dose of vaccine. This same age group can also receive their booster dose for the seasonal flu vaccine if they attended the clinic Oct. 15.

•Steuben officials previously announced a clinic from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the multipurpose room. The injection form of the vaccine will be offered to caregivers of infants younger than 6 months; young adults ages 18 to 24; and adults ages 25 to 64 with chronic health conditions.

•Noble County will run a clinic from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stone’s Hill Church, 151 W. Stone’s Hill Road, Ligonier. Another is set for from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 23 at St. Mary’s Elementary School, 232 N. Main St., Avilla.

Vaccine will be given to pregnant women; children and young adults ages 6 months to 24 years; people who care for infants younger than 6 months; adults younger than 60 who have chronic health problems; and health care workers.

•Wells County previously announced it will conduct a clinic from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Bluffton High School. The vaccine is available for those ages 6 months to 24 years; caregivers for children younger than 6 months; pregnant women; and adults ages 25 to 64 with chronic health conditions.
