Boucher hurt other hand

He won't play all weekend

Nick Boucher injured his glove hand -- his left hand -- during practice on Thursday and that is why he is out of the lineup. He had been battling a thumb injury on his right hand earlier in the week.

Boucher won't play in any of the three games this weekend. Because Tyler Sims was signed as an emergency goaltender, he can only play if Tim Haun suffers an injury.

This will be the truest test Haun has gotten with the Komets.

General manager David Franke wouldn't disclose specifics about the injury, and said Boucher is "day-to-day" and would be evaluated Tuesday.
