Mark Lemon, executive director of the Henderson Settlement in Frakes, Ky., will speak at Kingsley United Methodist Church, 15482 Mendon Road, Van Wert, Ohio, at 10:25 a.m. Sunday.

Women’s event

Christian Women’s Connection, an affiliation of Stonecroft Ministries, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Goeglein’s, 7311 Maysville Road. •The United Faith Presbyterian Church’s congregation fall meeting will be after the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday.

•Landmark Baptist Church, 620 Broadway St., New Haven, will have a Thanksgiving service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, with lunch afterward. There will also be a pie and praise time after lunch.

•The Goshen College student-led worship team, Parables, will present its program, “Wherever you go, there you are. And God is present,” 10 a.m. Sunday at LifeSpring Community Church in Goshen.

•A workshop on “Taking Care of the Body God Gave You” will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Salem United Church of Christ, 2401 Lake Ave. The cost is $3. Call 426-5854 for reservations.

•Benefit performances of Studio 149’s “The Prince’s Bride: An Allegory of Jesus and the Church” will take place at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. today and 3 p.m. Sunday at Promise Ministries, 7323 Schwartz Road. A portion of the proceeds will assist with the medical expenses of Paul R. Holsopple, co-owner of Fort Wayne’s Anchor Room Christian bookstore who is battling inoperable brain cancer. A Fall Festival with a cookie walk, basket raffle, food, games and crafts will open two hours before each show. Performances are free. A freewill offering will be received.
