Strange: Whitehead is warming up

Either general manager David Franke and radio broadcaster Bob Chase were misinformed, or strange things are afoot.

Travis Whitehead is on the ice during warm-ups, even though Franke and Chase said he had a knee injury.

So either the Komets don't want the Lumberjacks to know they'll be short, or he's just going to sit on the bench and serve penalties if need be.

Strange, indeed.

By the way, the Komets have asked the IHL to review the Greg Labenski hit on Konstantin Shafranov, who suffered a concussion and has been placed on injured reserve.
