MTV has acquired the rights to air “This Is It,” the documentary about Michael Jackson. The deal includes all of the domestic channels under MTV Networks, including VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia, and Viacom’s BET Networks.

“This Is It” hit theaters Oct. 28 and has earned $222.6 million worldwide.

Sister blames doctor

Janet Jackson blames Dr. Conrad Murray for her brother Michael’s death. She told ABC News in an interview airing tonight that Murray should no longer be allowed to practice medicine.

“He was the one that was administering,” Jackson said. “I think he is responsible.”

Jackson let cameras into her home for the first time for her interview with ABC reporter Robin Roberts.

Ready for ‘Scream 4’

Courteney Cox, 45, says she’s excited to star in “Scream 4,” an upcoming slasher sequel being written by Kevin Williamson, who wrote two films of the horror trilogy. Cox met husband David Arquette, 38, on the “Scream” set in 1996.

Cox and Arquette will reprise their roles as reporter Gale Weathers and bumbling sheriff Dewey Riley, along with Neve Campbell, 36, who plays heroine Sidney.

TV stars seek more

Reality TV personalities Heidi and Spencer Pratt said they want to branch out from MTV’s “The Hills” and star in their own show.

While promoting their new book, “How to be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture,” the couple said they’re shopping the idea around to networks.

They said that while “The Hills” focuses on a small part of their lives, their own show would reveal everything that happens to them. They also said they’d include live segments.

Manager sues actor

Nicolas Cage is being sued by his former business manager, who claims lavish spending is to blame for the actor’s financial problems.

Samuel J. Levin filed a countersuit Nov. 12, a month after the “National Treasure” star sued Levin for fraud, claiming he was leading Cage toward financial ruin.

Levin’s suit says he tried to warn Cage in 2001 that he was outspending his large Hollywood paychecks. The filing states Levin enacted a plan that resulted in Cage selling a dozen automobiles.
