The Indiana Pork Producers Association donated 5,000 pounds of ground pork to Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana on Tuesday.

It was the first delivery of 90,000 pounds of pork promised to the region.

The goal of the campaign, in conjunction with Feeding Indiana’s Hungry Inc., is to provide 1 million meals annually to the needy.
