All talk

Denali likes to let me know that he missed me while I was gone. He tells me that he loves me. He also doesn't hesitate to let me know that he's not happy with whatever is going on.

The thing is, he doesn't bark. He, like other Siberian huskies, howls, yowls, woos - whatever you want to call it. I can't tell you what we call it - it's not very nice.

What I can tell you, though, is that it is quite endearing ... and hilarious. I nearly fell on the floor laughing this morning when Denali gave me a piece of his mind for a near minute. (I think he was frustrated that our walk would be after breakfast and not before.)

The icing on the cake? Denali always manages to bump you with his nose in the buttocks region as if to say, "Hey, you. Pay attention. I have something to say."
