Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis, whose future with the program is in doubt, said he will not be thinking about anything but the players, especially the 33 fourth- and fifth-year seniors, when he makes his way to the field for the game against Connecticut.
Even though Saturday could be his last time to run down the tunnel as the head coach at Notre Dame Stadium.
"That would be very selfish for me to do," Weis said. "I would be very, very, very selfish to be thinking about anyone but those fourth- and fifth-year players. I promise you as far as I could tell, I don't think those thoughts would enter my mind."
