The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is looking for anyone who might have seen this tan 1993 Chevy pickup truck driving on Whitley County roads or parked off the roadway in western Whitley County between 8:30 and 11 a.m. Wednesday. The department can be reached at 260-244-6410.

The former husband of a missing Columbia City woman has been charged with murder in connection with her disappearance and suspected death, according to a statement released Friday by the Whitley County Prosecutor's Office.

Rodney Houser faces one count of murder. He was being held without bail at the Whitley County Jail pending an initial hearing Monday morning in Whitley Circuit Court.

Debra Houser, 49, a mother of three, was reported missing Wednesday morning by a confidential informant. Deputies are continuing their search today outside her rural home in an attempt to locate her body.

Houser's home at 4041 Old Trail Road, near County Road 400 West west of Columbia City, has been also been searched.

Family said Debra Houser lived at the home with her ex-husband and their 9-year-old son.
