    PORT CLINTON, Ohio – Animal protection workers in northwestern Ohio are seeking foster homes for 13 beagles that were seized from a foreclosed property after the owners apparently moved out and left the dogs behind.

Maddie is a 2-year-old black and tan beagle and miniature pinscher.

She is very outgoing and energetic. Maddie loves to run, play, cuddle up and spend time with her best friend. She also likes stuffed toys and chasing squirrels.

Maddie is spayed, housebroken, likes other dogs and children over the age of 8.

She is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St., 744-0454

It is open noon to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, noon to 7 p.m. Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. It is closed Sundays and Mondays.
