Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger’s luxury estate in Greenwich, Conn., has sold for $20 million, about $8 million below the asking price.

Sotheby’s International Realty says the 20,000-square-foot mansion is being purchased by a family who toured it in September.

The mansion has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It also features a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, indoor basketball court, sauna, massage room with a waterfall and home theater.

Hilfiger bought the home in 2005 for $18 million. It had been on the market since February 2008.

The mansion is on Connecticut’s Gold Coast, a bastion of suburban perfection that’s home to Martha Stewart and is considered the inspiration for the Stepford Wives.

USA revamps lineup to aid original shows

“White Collar” star Matt Bomer and the “Psych” cast will get shaken up in January as USA takes them to new nights.

The network’s winter slate kicks off Jan. 19 when “White Collar” moves from Friday to Tuesday.

“Psych” will move from Friday to Wednesday beginning Jan. 27.

“Burn Notice” will stay put on Thursdays, with the back half of the third season debuting Jan. 21.

With this lineup, USA will have three straight nights of original series.
