Notre Dame is looking forward to getting some rest.
After the Irish men's basketball team polished off an 80-70 victory over Idaho State at Purcell Pavilion, coach Mike Brey said his team will get a chance to catch its breath before Sunday's home game against Central Florida.
Notre Dame (7-1) has played eight games in the first 18 days of the season.
"We finally have a couple days between games," Brey said. "(Wednesday), we are going to lift and see film, and Thursday, I'd rather they not even be in the gym. And you could use two days of practice. You when you are playing so many games, you lose good reps at practice because you can't use all your energy going two hours of practice when you are playing every other day."
