Looks like Excedren headache #2. OUCH! Would that be a highsticking or slashing major. Maybe just stupid. There is no penalty for that.

Any word whatever came about as far as injury goes? It's hard to tell how hard the guy actually swung! If nothing else I am sure his ears were ringing for at least a day just like when you take a slapshot to the ear part of the helmet! So annoying!

They took him off on a stretcher! He swung his stick as hard as he could. It looked much worse on TV!

I still like Boucher throwin the puck at Bertram because it was actually intentional.

Alex, Boucher actually never threw the puck at Bertram......the player that was around where the puck was tossed outta the net was in fact Sergei Durdin.

From what I read, his ear just got sliced. I guess they just took him to the hospital as a precaution. It reminded me of when my earlobe was nearly sliced off. The ER doctor didn't even know it until she touched it and a stream of blood ran down my neck. Her words: "Well THAT'S gonna need some stiches."

Nice, I never really thought it was all that funny........two teammates getting into it in a playoff game doesn't really make strike me as that funny. Neither does what happened with Ballard and Vokoun....

I don't understand why Komet fans insist in brining up the Bertram/Boucher incident all the time. Let the thing die already. It's an embarrassing incident to the players involved I'm sure, and it also draws negative attention to the franchise, that I, apparently unlike some of the so called Komets fans, truly love......LET IT DIE ALREADY

There used to be a youtube video of the incident. The Frankes probably payed somebody to take it down though, because Komets are truly the class of minor league hockey and never participate in that type of behavior.
