Notre Dame receiver Golden Tate was named to the AFCA Coaches' All-American team, the American Football Coaches Association announced Thursday.

Tate tied or broke six school records this year.

The 5-foot-11 junior set single-season season records in receptions (93), yards (1,496) and most 100-yard receiving games (9).

He set career records in receiving yards (2,707) and 100-yard receiving games (15), and he matched the single-season receiving touchdown record (15).
