AT THE LIBRARY:

•The Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza, will have “Totally Terrific Tuesdays,” arts and crafts for teens, at 7 p.m. Tuesday and “Writer’s Circle,” for grades 6 to 12, at 5 p.m. Thursday in Young Adults’ Services. Music will be provided by The Bergamot at 2 p.m. Sunday.

•The Grabill branch, 13521 State St., Grabill, will have “Knit Night” at 7 p.m. Thursday.

•The Pontiac branch, 2215 S. Hanna St., has “Sit and Stitch” knitting at 4 p.m. Tuesdays and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays.

•The Woodburn branch, 4701 Indiana 101 N., has a “Yarn Lovers’ Gathering” at 7 p.m. Thursdays.

Bookstore events

Barnes & Noble will have a holiday book drive through Jan. 1 at the Jefferson Pointe and Glenbrook Square stores. New books collected will be donated to Kate’s Kart, a not-for-profit organization that supplies free books to hospitalized children.

Several schools and organizations are hosting fundraising book fairs at Barnes & Noble, 4140 W. Jefferson Blvd. They are Covington Elementary School, today; Northwest Allen County Schools’ PEAK Parent Support Group, Saturday; FAME (Foundation for Art and Music in Elementary Education), Sunday; Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Dec. 12; and Haverhill Elementary School, Dec. 16.

Fundraisers

•The Friends of the Library will sponsor a holiday book boutique from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Huntington City-Township Public Library, 200 W. Market St., Huntington.

•Artworks, 4150 W. Jefferson Blvd., will have a fundraiser for the SPCA from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

•Cinema Center and Artlink will present “Artament,” a silent auction of original hanging art pieces by local artists, from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 437 E. Berry St. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling 426-3456 or at Artament.org.

P.O.E.T.S meeting

The Northeast IN P.O.E.T.S will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza.
