Warsaw's Freds fills it up

Warsaw senior Kelci Freds might have the quickest release of any basketball player - male or female - that I have seen in quite some time.

That quick-shot helped her set a career high with 29 points Tuesday in a 58-57 double-overtime win over previously unbeaten and Class 2A No. 1 Bishop Luers on the road.

Her previous best was 25, set earlier this season.

Not only did she score with the help of five three-pointers, but the 5-foot-6 guard also pulled down 10 rebounds.
