Report: Rudolph to have surgery

Notre Dame tight end Kyle Rudolph will undergo surgery to repair a separated shoulder, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound sophomore missed two games after being injured in a loss to Navy on Nov. 7. At the time, Rudolph's injury was described as a muscle issue on his shoulder.

Rudolph had 33 catches for 364 yards and three touchdowns this season.
