Syroczynski makes difference

Does anyone think the Komets aren't an infinitely better team with Matt Syroczynski in the lineup?

Less than 13 minutes into his return, after an 18-game stint in the higher-level American Hockey League, he has a goal and an assist. And the Komets have a 2-1 lead over the visiting Port Huron Icehawks after one period, in front of one of the smallest crowds I ever remember seeing at Memorial Coliseum.

By the way, the Komets are not wearing their throwback jerseys, as had been planned, because they decided they look too much like Port Huron's road jerseys, which aren't being worn tonight.
