ABC News’ Chris Cuomo is likely to move to the newsmagazine “20/20” as its co-host.

A network executive who spoke anonymously said Cuomo is in negotiations for the job after being passed over for “Good Morning America” co-host. Cuomo would co-anchor with Elizabeth Vargas and take on an expanded reporting role at the network.

The executive said JuJu Chang has been offered Cuomo’s job as newsreader at “Good Morning America.”

The personnel changes mean it’s likely George Stephanopoulos will be announced as Diane Sawyer’s successor on “Good Morning America” soon.
