Eight people were arrested Tuesday after a 10-month investigation into drug-related crimes in DeKalb County, Auburn police said.
Auburn police, the Indiana Multi Agency Group Enforcement Drug Task Force and other local law enforcement agencies made the arrests at several locations. The suspects were all booked into the DeKalb County Jail.
Their charges range from dealing controlled substances and marijuana to dealing methamphetamine.
Those arrested were: Felicia Dewert, 24, on two counts of dealing marijuana; Casey Brown, 19, on charges of dealing in a controlled substance and dealing marijuana; and Joshua Baker, 21, on charges of dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. All three are from Garrett.
Also charged: Nicholas Resor, 19, on two counts of dealing in a controlled substance; and Andrew Myers, 20, on two counts of dealing marijuana and a charge of possession of marijuana. Both are from Auburn. Also charged were Keith Johnson, 57, of St. Joe, on a charge of dealing meth; Jamie Hoffelder, 31, of Waterloo, on a charge of dealing meth; and Steven Kline, 32, of Albion, on a charge of dealing in a controlled substance.
