    The Crossroads Classic, a men's basketball event held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, has been extended through 2019, the athletic directors at Indiana, Butler, Purdue and Notre Dame announced Thursday.

Scouting Kentucky

Indiana returns to Assembly Hall to face Kentucky. The game is at noon Saturday and can be seen on CBS.

The Wildcats, ranked No. 4 nationally, are coming off of consecutive wins against top 15 teams: North Carolina and Connecticut. John Calipari is off to a 9-0 start as Kentucky coach. Only Adolph Rupp had a better start to his career at the school, going 10-0 in 1931.

Kentucky is off to its best start since going 11-0 in 1993.

John Wall has emerged as one of the stars early this season. The guard had 25 points against the Huskies, including 12 of his team's last 15. Wall is averaging 19 points per game.

Preseason All-American Patrick Patterson is living up to the expectations, averaging 16.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
