Right wing Matt Syroczynski’s return to the Komets was a short-lived one.

On Thursday, he was recalled to Norfolk of the American Hockey League, just two days after the Admirals had sent him down to Fort Wayne.

Syroczynski was in the Fort Wayne lineup for one game in the interim, tallying a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss to the Port Huron Icehawks at Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday night.

Syroczynski has already spent 18 games with Norfolk, tallying four goals and six points.

It’s unknown how long he’ll be with the Admirals this time.

With the Komets, Syroczynski has five goals and eight points in five games this season.
