Westview honoring past state champs

Westview will be honoring the school's 1999 and 2000 Class 2A boys basketball state champions Dec. 22.

The team will be introduced at halftime of the Westview girls varsity home game against Lakeland around 6:30 p.m.

The Warriors' team from a decade ago will also be available to meet the fans between the boys and girls games and a halftime of the boys game later that night in the cafeteria.

Also at halftime of the boys game, a signed box of cereal with the team's picture on it will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to the Westview Christmas family fund.
