Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick will be making his way to Fort Wayne.

Swarbrick and former Cleveland Indians manager Eric Wedge, a Northrop graduate, will be the featured speakers at the Fort Wayne Sports Corporation's annual Banquet in the Memorial Coliseum's Appleseed Room on Jan. 28.

The event, which includes a sport memorabilia auction, begins at 6 p.m. with dinner starting at 7 p.m. After dinner, Swarbrick and Wedge will address the audience and the banquet closes with the auction.

Tickets coast $85 per person, $75 for Fort Wayne Sports Corp. members, and organizations can reserve a table of eight. For more information call Fort Wayne Sports Corp. at 260-420-1305.

Proceeds from the banquet and auction will go to the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana, the Notre Dame Club of Fort Wayne Scholarship Fund, as well as the Fort Wayne Sports Corporation – which provides scholarships for kids to attend the Eric Wedge Baseball Camp.
