Three Irish players to play in Senior Bowl

Notre Dame safety Kyle McCarthy, center Eric Olsen and right tackle Sam Young will play in the Senior Bowl at 4 p.m. Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala., the university announced.

McCarthy, the Irish's defensive captain, led the team with 101 tackles and had five interceptions.

Olsen, a co-offensive captain, moved from guard to center this season and gave up one sack in 450 pass attempts, according to the university.

Young made a school record 50 starts and was the only lineman to start every game since his freshman season.

The game will televised by the NFL Network.
