Indiana just released an update on Maurice Creek, who is expected to miss the rest of the season after fracturing his left knee Monday against Bryant.
Creek had surgery Tuesday.
"In visiting with Dr. Steve Ahlfeld (the team's orthopedic surgeon), the surgery went very well and we expect a full recovery," Indiana coach Tom Crean said in a statement. "His rehabilitation will start as soon as possible.
"After spending time with Maurice and his family tonight, it is clear they are very touched by all the support they have received from fans and friends across the country."
Creek averaged 16.4 points per game, tops among all Big Ten freshmen. The injury occurred after he fell while getting fouled on his way to the basket with 15:26 remaining in the game.
