Cody Decker honored

Cody Decker, a late-season addition to the TinCaps' roster, was named the short-season Hitter of the Year by MiLB.com. Decker was the MVP in the Arizona Rookie League after hitting hit .354 with a league-best 15 home runs and 63 RBI. Decker joined the TinCaps in late August. He hit .111 (2 for 18) with one RBI in Fort Wayne.
