Indiana's first road trip was a bumpy one.
The Hoosiers had a season-high 24 turnovers, falling to Ohio State 79-54.
IU didn't have much of a shooting touch either. The team shot 34 percent from the floor.
"We were not tough enough," IU coach Tom Crean said, "we were not aggressive enough on either end of the court."
Indiana needed four points in the final five seconds by Verdell Jones III to avoid scoring fewer than 20 in the first half. Jones led the Hoosiers with 22 points.
"We didn't stick with what got us the win against Michigan," Jones said. "The great ball movement and we had a lot of assists."
The Hoosiers also couldn't find an answer for Jon Diebler, who had 21 points (he made five three-pointers).
