You call that a question?
That's not a question.
This is a question: "Why is the Baseball Hall of Fame undecided about whether Andre Dawson should go in as a Cub or an Expo?"
Seems pretty simple to me: He goes in as a Cub.
Sure, he played 11 seasons for the Expos, one more than he played in Chicago. But it was in Chicago that he won his MVP award. And it was in Chicago that, thanks to the far-reaching powers of WGN, most of the rest of the nation came to be most familiar with him.
Dawson, reportedly, is saying he wants to go in as a Cub. But of course he said to Chicago media, so he may just be telling them what they want to hear.
Still, it's gotta be Cubs. Doesn't it?
