Ice Chips

  • Some CHL news
The CHL's Denver Cutthroats have gone dormant for the upcoming season and are looking to secure investors for the 2015-16 season.
  • K's add scoring, toughness
The Komets were in need of a defenseman who can score and hit and they got one today – and he should be familiar to fans of the team – with the signing of Matt Krug.
  • New digital aid for ECHL fans
The ECHL has partnered with NeuLion Inc. to provide line and on-demand content to internet-connected devices that will be available on multiple devices, including PCs and iOS.

Healthy? No way.

I can't even remember the last time this happened, but the Komets don't have anyone on injured reserve tonight.

So, with the exception of Matt Syroczynski still being with Norfolk of the American Hockey League, this is the closest we'll have seen to the Komets' actual preferred lineup all season.

Defenseman Brandon Warner is the scratch against Bloomington. Speaking of Warner, I'm not entirely sure I agree with him splitting time between forward and defense. Should he be runnning the point on the power play at least?
