Purdue was led by KK Houser and Alex Guyton, who both scored eight points.
Purdue trailed by only nine at halftime, but then Minnesota went on a 14-4 run.
The 27-point final margin was Purdues largest defeat of the season.
The Gophers held Purdue to one field goal over the final 9:15 of the first half, including a stretch of 5:54 without a basket.

No. 5 OHIO STATE 72, ILLINOIS 61: Samantha Prahalis scored 24 points and reserve Maria Moeller hit two key three-pointers for the host Buckeyes. Jantel Lavender, averaging 22 points this season, was limited to 12 for Ohio State (18-1, 6-0 Big Ten).
Karisma Penn scored 21 points for Illinois (11-5, 3-3). Jenna Smith played with a strained left hamstring and finished with five points and seven boards.
VANDERBILT 66, No. 6 GEORGIA 44: Tiffany Clarke scored 14 points as the host Commodores handed the Bulldogs their first loss of the season. Vanderbilt (13-4, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) snapped a two-game road skid in SEC games to avoid its worst start to league play since the 1991-92 season.

No. 7 DUKE 69, No. 25 MIAMI 62: Reserve Krystal Thomas had 15 points and 12 rebounds, as the visiting Blue Devils remained perfect in the ACC. Shenise Johnson finished with 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Miami.
Jasmine Thomas was only 4 of 19 from the field but scored 16 points for the Blue Devils (15-2, 3-0), who held ACC scoring leader Riquna Williams to 10 points on 4-of-23 shooting.

No. 16 FLORIDA STATE 80, CLEMSON 50: Jacinta Monroe scored 18 points as the visiting Seminoles rebounded from their first road loss in almost two years.
The Seminoles (15-3, 2-1 ACC) opened with a 16-2 run on the way to beating the Tigers for the 14th time in the last 15 games.
WISCONSIN 48, No. 20 MICHIGAN STATE 45: Reserve Taylor Wurtz scored 16 points, including the game-winning layup, to lead the Badgers to a comeback win in East Lansing, Mich.
Teah Gant and Alyssa Karel each added 10 points for the Badgers (14-4, 4-3 Big Ten).
No. 21 GEORGIA TECH 72, WAKE FOREST 66: Brigitte Ardossi scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Yellow Jackets (15-3, 2-1 ACC) improve to 8-0 at home.
INDIANA 62, MICHIGAN 60: Paced by Hope Elams 24 points – she made 10 of 18 field goals – the Hoosiers won at Assembly Hall. Teammate Jamie Braun made 6 of 13 shots for 16 points, and Whitney Lindsay had 10 assists.
IU had to hold off a good effort from the Wolverines bench players, who provided 15 points in a game that had four lead changes.

No. 9 TENNESSEE 81, AUBURN 55: Wayne Chism had 12 points, 12 rebounds and six steals as the host Volunteers shook off a slow start. Through the first half, Tennessee (13-2, 1-0 SEC) looked sluggish after its win over then top-ranked Kansas on Sunday.
Bobby Maze and J.P. Prince both had 14 points for the Volunteers, while Scotty Hopson chipped in 11.
