Crean the day after the win

Indiana men's basketball coach Tom Crean began Monday's Big Ten teleconference by reviewing the team's 81-78 overtime victory against Minnesota Sunday. The Hoosiers led by 15 in regulation, only to see the Golden Gophers tie the game with seven seconds to force overtime.

Verdell Jones III scored seven of his career-high 24 points in overtime. He made the go-ahead basket with 32.8 seconds remaining.

"The bottom line for us is we kept playing," Crean said. "When things didn't look good for us, we gave up the lead, we continued to keep playing. We continued to battle on the backboards and defend and we made some big plays."
