Today's reason: The Jets are just the Ravens in big-people's clothes, and look what happened to them.
In other words ... the Jets are the best defensive team in the NFL and bring its best rushing offense. If this sounds familiar, it should; the Ravens brought a fearsome defense and run game, too. All the Colts did was shut down the run game -- Ray Rice ran for 67 yards and the Ravens as a team rushed for just 87 -- and force Joe Flacco to throw 35 times.
The result was two Flacco interceptions, two lost fumbles and 12 first downs.
Peyton Manning, meanwhile, completed 30 of 44 passes for 246 yards and one touchdown. The Ravens' "D" limited the Colts to 20 points, but it was more than enough against a Ravens' offense that managed one lonely field goal -- which is, coincidentally, the same number of points the Jets managed against the Colts' No. 1 "D" in Week 16.
