Norwell's outstanding senior running back Klay Fiechter has decided to play college football at the University of Indianapolis.
Fiechter ran for a northeast Indiana-best 2,212 yards and 28 touchdowns last year and was named Class 3A All-State.
"I am excited to have made my decision where I am going to continue my education," Fiechter said. "U of I is a great fit for me. U of I is close to home so my family can attend my games. I will be starting out at running back but may switch to defensive back."
Fiechter joins three other former Norwell football players who played at Indianapolis in Jim Patten, Brandon Neuenschwander and Matt Michuda.
