The Illini won the first meeting between the teams 66-60 on Jan. 9. Illinois rallied from 15-down to beat IU.

Illinois has four players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Demetri McCamey at 14.9 points per game. Mike Tisdale (11.8), D.J. Richardson (11.2) and Mike Davis (10.9) are also averaging double figures in points. Tisdale scored 27 points in the earlier meeting with IU.
