I do miss you all

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- First off, I wanted to check in and tell you all that I will be back soon from covering the Super Bowl. And I wanted to thank Ben Smith for standing in so capably.

For your amusement and clicking pleasure, though: See this from The Flint Journal.

But the real reason I stopped by were to drop off a couple interesting stories I read: This one on Claude Noel, the former Komets assistant coach, and this one on St. Louis Blues coach Davis Payne, who was mentored by the Dayton Gems' John Marks.

Let me know in the comments section how the Komets have been doing in my absence.
