Hoosiers trail at halftime

Northwestern shot 59.1 percent in the first half to take a 40-29 lead into halftime against Indiana.

The Wildcats were 6 of 9 from three-point territory and held a double-digit lead for much of the half. Northwestern began the game with a 13-2 run.

Many of the three-pointers were on wide open looks. The Wildcats also worked their way inside without much trouble.

Verdell Jones III leads IU with 14 points. The Hoosiers shot 38.5 percent from the floor in the half.
