Winter storm watch

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio from late Monday night through Wednesday evening.

Snow is expected to spread the area late Monday night and become heavy Tuesday and Tuesday night. Snow should taper to snow showers on Wednesday.

Increasing northwest winds are expected to cause considerable blowing and drifting snow late Tuesday night and Wednesday ... possibly resulting in whiteouts and some impassable roads in rural portions of the area.
