Peg sits pretty with Al by her side.

Ted and Al are still the top dogs

Saturday, John and I welcomed a new addition to the Bundy Cat family: Peg.

This post isn’t about her, though; it’s about my wonderfully secure Ted and Al. As I expected, my boy kitties were OK with a new kitten in the family. They sat back and watched Peg explore the house, darting back and forth from the sunroom to the kitchen to the laundry room, etc.

Ted and Al were a calming presence for the 4-month-old kitten, touching noses and sniffing backsides and eventually curling up on the floor together.

Most cats hiss and fight when a newcomer invades their territory. Not my boys. They know they’ll always be the top dogs in the Bundy Cat hierarchy.
