Man, 50, faces count of sexual battery

A Fort Wayne man faces a sex crime charge for fondling a teenage girl, according to Allen Superior Court records filed Monday.

Humberto Salazar, 50, of the 700 block of Taylor Street, is charged with one count of sexual battery. He was being held without bail on unrelated charges.

Police say Salazar touched a 16-year-old girl in a sexual manner in June. Salazar touched the girl even though she tried to get away, documents state.
