Hoosiers prep for Spartans

Indiana meets Michigan State for the only time in the regular season. The Hoosiers (9-15, 3-9 Big Ten) are scuffling, losers of six straight. The No. 11 Spartans (20-6, 10-3) had a three-game losing streak end Saturday by beating Penn State. Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said Kalin Lucas, last year's Big Ten Player of the Year, is 80 percent as he continues to recover from ankle injury.As for the Hoosiers, Verdell Jones III is still recovering from a stomach virus but should play. He has been sick since the end of last week, but still played Saturday at Wisconsin.
