No doubt everyone's heard about Tiger Woods' "news conference" tomorrow, which will be A) not a news conference at all, but a carefully orchestrated, thoroughly vetted appearance in which Woods will make a statement to a room of handpicked "journalists" who who will not be allowed to ask any questions, and B) somehow the news event of the day regardless.
Here's the best part: While Woods steals the spotlight, his fellow pros will be playing a tournament in Arizona. The title sponsor is Accenture -- the first of Woods' sponsors to cut him loose after it came out that he was a serial adulterer of epic proportions.
Show of hands here if you think the timing of Woods' "news conference" is just a coincidence (his agent's take), or if it's a deliberate knee to the groin to Accenture for having the temerity to dump Tiger as a client (Ernie Els' and Rory McIllroy's take).
