Notre Dame's Lindsay Schrader returned to the lineup Tuesday, and the women's team returned to its winning ways.
The No. 7 Irish defeated Marquette 82-67 in Purcell Pavilion to end a two-game slide.
Schrader, who missed the previous two games with a sprained left ankle, scored 17 points for Notre Dame, which had fallen three spots in the rankings and threatened to push the team out of the top four in the Big East.
Melissa Lechlitner scored a career-high 23 points for Notre Dame (24-3, 11-3 Big East).
It was the fourth loss in a row for Marquette (14-13, 5-9).
