After a stint as the Elmhurst athletic director and currently at Wayne, Burton will be the AD at South Side next year.

Burton will replace Jerry Amstutz, who is returning to the classroom after being the AD at South Side for 11 years. Amstutz was also the AD at Eastside.

Burton will be going over to South Side with current Wayne principal Carlton Mable, who is switching schools with Thomas Smith.
