This was likely a bitter-sweet honor for Notre Dame forward Luke Harangody.
Prior to tonight's home game against Pittsburgh, Harangody became the first player to earn a spot in Notre Dame's Ring of Honor in Purcell Pavilion.
The two-time All-American had a banner unveiled with his No. 44 on it in a ring that will pay tribute to Irish greats.
But while this was done, Harangody was in a black suit as he will miss his third game in a row and his team on a three-game losing streak.
